I want to say sorry ..to all those people who opened my blog these days and saw nothing on books but just awards...

I know I have not done any real work...these days...

I have just been passing awards  without doing anything....

But this is not my fault...ryt!!?? U guys r giving me so much love....I am not getting time to write about books..

Within a single month ..I received 8 awards.... Among which I already passed 5 awards...

• Of course, Blogging first.... U can see me available ..most of the time in a day..!!
• Then  computer...hehe..same thing I know... But I couldn't think of anything else..

• Specially I have a craze for beautiful shoes,sandals, bags, hair accessories, earrings....though I hav a fairly big collection I don't like to wear dem much... :P

Banned Books

Banned books are books to which free access is not permitted. The practice of banning books is a form of censorship, and often has political, religious or moral motivations.

Books are banned for a variety of reasons. Materials are often suppressed due to the perceived notion of obscenity.Governments have also sought to ban certain books it perceives to contain material that could threaten, embarrass, or criticize it.

Governments may also ban books to protect the public from their contents, including materials that may endanger public safety.

Listed below is a list of some famous books which were banned in a few places due to various reasons... These books on the other hand also remained Bestsellers in other states...!!

 "Alice's adventures in wonderland- by Lewis Carol" was banned in the province of Hunan(China) in the 1931 for the portrayal of Anthropomorphized (recognition of human characteristics in non-human creatures and beings) animals acting on same level as humans.

"The Da Vinci Code- by Dan Brown" was banned in Lebanon after Catholic leaders deemed it offensive to Christianity.

"The God of Small Things - by Arundhati Roy"    Written in 1996, claimed to be portraying occasional interrelgious sex scenes involving a Christian woman and low caste-Hindu servant. Ban overturned in India in 1997.

"Jinnah: India-Partition-Independence- by Jaswant Singh" Banned in Gujarat, India in August 2009.

"Mein Kampf- by Adolf Hitler" Effectively banned in Germany.Banned in some European nations and the Russian Federation as extremist.

There are still many books which are being loved by the people and at the same time some others are banning them!!

Encouragement is very important in a person's life.... It is like an ENERGY BOOSTER....


I  am getting much encouragement from my fellow bloggers......So, today.. I am taking my time to thank these people....

It was 3rd May 2010... I was only 7 days old in Bloggers.com... when I received my very first award...


                   I was really very very happy.. felt like flying actually..!! I am feeling great.. because.... my web designing teacher.. told me.. that "after making the blog.. you may not get many viewers immediately..!! But after a month or two.. people will visit your blog.. till then keep patience..!"


But surprisingly.. the day I made my first blog and created my profile here  (27th April).. I got a visitor..with  "Welcome to bloggers" note.. And he is .. my cute little 3 year old brother..'Beanizer'.


I was really happy...
Then I started getting more and more visitors and also more votes... which I accept as my friend's love for me..!!
